Saffron Risotto Recipe
Serves 4 Ingredients:
• 1 medium onion
• 50g butter
• 440g rice
• 1 liter hot broth
• 1 glass white wine
• 9 seconds of Mantova Saffron Spray
• 50g grated Parmigiano Reggiano
• Olive oil
Instructions:
1. Sauté the onion in olive oil until golden.
2. Add the rice and toast it over low heat for a couple of minutes, stirring continuously.
3. Deglaze with white wine and gradually add the hot broth, one ladle at a time.
4. Adjust salt to taste.
5. Once the rice is cooked, turn off the heat and stir in butter and Parmigiano.
6. Spray saffron directly onto the risotto for about 9 seconds, stir gently, and serve hot.
